Just found original letter.
Quote: "Renew before Sunday 18th June, and regardless of division status, we'll guarantee you:

05/06 prices frozen for season 06/07

20% off this season's price for season 07/08 ( 25% off if you take up two year season ticket)

Prices frozen at 06/07 rates, even for season 08/09."

So the Baggies have done it, next years season tickets reduced !

Come on Mr Sullivan, do the same !

It's the season ticket holders the club is missing this year more than the pay on the day fan !

More of one, attracts more of the other !

Now Albion have announced a 25% reduction in all season ticket prices next season for all fans, many more clubs to follow soon as well I reckon.

With the season ticket prices this season offering a 20% reduction for next 2 seasons for those that could afford them, meaning we won't be coming back yet as that would mean a 45% reduction for those taking up the 2 year offer to make new season ticket renewals fairly priced.

I am not having ago at the people who have took this offer up you have put your money up front and deserve the benefits.

But to get the missing thousands back to be able to offer them a season ticket for £350 in the Tilton next season would certainly convince me and hopefully others as well

Be intrested to see how Blues deal with the promotions of season tickets next year. Would love to be a season ticket holder again next season whatever division but not at £475.

If Blues were to offer new season ticket holders a 25% discount. It would be interesting to hear from the people who already been promised a discount how much discount they would expect ie 45% or ????...

yes i am a season ticket holder due 20% off next season as you say will be very interesting to see what thy offer us, as we already have that discount off, and if they reduce prices then it should be even cheaper. If Mr Sullivan wants to fill the ground he knows what he has to do keep right on.......the end of the road is not that far away....

But.........if we get promotion the prawn eating carnivore fairweather fans will be back.
So They won't need to reduce the prices will they?

Expect a token 10% here or 5 % there, and they will have entered into the spirit of "putting fans first".

Big money, Big players, Big wages for the manager. Thats what David Sullivan promised, we can't have that and any payback to the fans.

See................ its them or us again with David S - always someone else to blame. If its not the greedy players, its the greedy manager, if its not them its the over-optimistic fans. The Board never get anything wrong, why don't we ever understand.
They know best.

the only reason blues reduced season tickets prices after the initial prices was due to lack of interest, they were forced to do it, not because they wanted to

I still think £495 to watch us next season in the premiership is harsh considering the overall picture and I wash shocked back in july last year when they thought £490 to watch a relegated team was acceptable, now if they said to existing season ticket holders that we would knock a £100 off then I wouldof renewed but they didnt so i didnt renew my thousand pounds worth

The way I understood it was, this years price stays as last season, 20% off that price next season, & back to this years price the season after. Therefore no price increase for 3 years. Think thats the way it was written.

I was about to say the same thing.

Blues offered this at the start of the season.

Most reports of other clubs ST prices state that they will freeze prices at this season's level which is what Blues have done for a while.

ST renewals have always been offered a reduced rate incentive before a deadline haven't they?

This season was the first since the 'pre Premiership' days that the club froze season ticket prices , and they were frozen for a inferior product so hardly justifiable !

And.........??

You don't have to be Einstein to realise that "freezing" Premiership prices for a Relegated Team was a mistake. Cripes he only has to read this Forum since last June to realise that.

I think that people are asking for a commitment from the board, not more "promises" and spin-doctoring of values and expenses.

As it is, it has taken the Board nearly 10 months to realise the blues fans were right. And it has taken intiatives from other clubs to move them into "looking" at the problem.

One that they created by the way.
Sorry Robert, no brownie points for Mr Sullivan seeing that he, himself, was wrong, so late in the day.

Yes I know.

And I think you will find the irony was Vivienne believes the Board have made mistakes but she stated 'the board never get anything wrong'.

And my point, which I am having to repeat for the 3rd time, is he has already stated they got the prices for this season wrong!!!!!!!!!

Got it Proserpine? wtf**

There were obviously a few people who didnt listen to Sullivans interview with some fans then, he said with the low capacity their hands were tied to a certain extent when it comes to offering cheap season tickets etc and realistically if Blues go up the prices are hardly likely to be reduced, if they didnt reduce them on relegation i se no chance for a reduction if we go up.

Trouble is if they introduced cheap season tickets you would then get people who have paid more moaning about those paying less,

Got a feeling Mr.Sullivan and co will never win on the subject of prices

Three words marky, West Bromwich Albion.
smaller ground
lower ticket prices
dont sell their big players lol
spend millions on new training ground & academy
already offering big discounts on season tickets regardless of which division.

Wonder why mr sullivan doesen't use them when he likes to compare.
